Sherlock! The Musical is an adaptation of the famous Arthur Conan Doyle character. Unlike his series of novels, this story takes place during Sherlock’s teen years long before he realizes his unique talents of observation could be applied to solving crimes. Many of Doyle’s characters in Sherlock’s adult life are part of the story including Jane Watson (a nice twist), his sister Minnie (Mycroft), Sebastian Moran, Professor Moriarty, Inspector LeStrade, Irene Adler, and the Baker Street Irregulars.
Sherlock is an outcast at the orphanage where he and his sister, Sebastian, and Jane Watson all meet. He is left to his own solitary preoccupation of researching the unknown identity of his parents until the home’s beloved groundskeeper is mysteriously murdered. This leads the orphan gang to convince Sherlock to solve the mystery that the local cops have gotten so wrong and the caper begins.
The orphan gang hits the streets and encounters The Baker Street Irregulars, Baskerville and the hounds, Schiff Street and Irene Adler, the Diogenes Club and a climatic confrontation of wits with Professor Moriarty. In the end, Sherlock learns much more about himself than expected and discovers what true friendship means.

Epic Death scene
We’re currently on a new musical exploring questions of life and purpose. The script is written for a small cast of 8 and the music calls for a pit band consisting of two keyboardists, a guitarist, bassist, cellist, and drummer.
Dying was once an art and Death was an artist, but as the population grew and humans became more and more self destructive, death became a business. Deaths were no longer custom made but instead they are mass produced and death himself went from an artist to a collection agent. But when a young writer is given only weeks to live everything changes. The Writer becomes determined to change his fate and finally make his mark on the world. He is determined to craft a death for himself that will be so epic, the world will never forget him.
These songs are works in progress and all sung by the composer.
